I came across Mark's work a few years ago when I became heavily interested in the study of English Common Law. I was trying to get to the bottom of certain things I had heard about that suggested our entire modern legal system has been systematically corrupted through decades of questionable precedents to mirror the UCC or Uniform Commercial Codes, which has for centuries been an evolving legal doctrine that one would go to if they were conducting business between independent sovereign countries. While this is a very interesting topic all by itself its not for everyone and requires a tremendous effort to get a working understanding of. Diving into this stuff led me to the concept of NATURAL LAW. Natural Law is the basic underpinning of English Common Law. You might think of it as the root of the legal tree so to speak. The idea of fairness and equity and justice all came later. What Natural Law addresses are the moral basics of Right and Wrong and it lays out in a few simple tenets what constitutes a wrong.
Mark Passio is an expert on Natural Law and as he so eloquently puts it, "ALL WRONGS ARE A FORM OF THEFT". Whether a person steals your money, your property, your dignity, your freedom, whatever the act, anything that is a wrong is a type of theft and it is a simple concept even a child can understand. Conversely, the right to possessions, property, dignity or freedom is, as our own Constitution puts it, INALIENABLE. That means it is granted by God and none of these things are privileges you get to have if you follow some protocol or belief system and there is no reason, EVER, that can be used to defend infringing on another's rights.
Natural Law is not really taught anymore. If anything it is ignored in favor of an endless parade of arguments we have over centuries piled up and accepted as the legal system. The effort that has been underway for a very long time, to subvert these basic principles, has been going on in plain sight all that time and it has been a very well organized, albeit covert, effort to change the concept of morality by changing the meanings in language. Just comparing certain definitions in a current edition of Blacks Law Dictionary, now in its 11th Edition, to the 6th Edition will show how far this effort has come.

Marks work is a tribute to the origins of morality and he crusades tirelessly to educate as many people as he can. He is articulate, direct, even caustic at times, because he has to be. Breaking out of the mind-spell that has been polluting even the most basic ideas of right vs. wrong and twisting them with left vs. right duality arguments that only divide people is hard to do. Its all many of us are fed since we were old enough to learn anything, so proper reasoning requires we UNLEARN a lot of things we currently accept without much question.
