This 'bio-telegram' literally turns on the flame and drives inflammatory responses. It is delivered in a 'pegylated' (meaning made of polyethylene-glycol) exogenous gamma retrovirus envelope filled with lipid nano-particles. PEG is highly toxic, but it is used for two reasons. First, it prevents certain enzymes in the body from breaking down this free floating synthetic mRNA. Normally, your body does not allow these danger signals to simply wander about freely. Instead, they quickly are degraded by specific regulatory enzymes into harmless proteins, so they don't cause random tissue inflammation, pain or cellular destruction.
