Lets do the simplest of fact checks. C'mon Google with me...
2018 total population of the US 327.000,000 (and that's everywhere so Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico)
Total acres in the continental US 3,119,884.69 (excluding 375 million acres in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico)
Acres per person .0095
Square feet in an acre 43,560
Square feet per person 2.18
Sound crowded? Remember, we are a highly advanced industrialized nation. 8.6 million of those people live like cattle on top of on another in New York. I hate New York by the way. It feels like you have less than a foot per person there because, you actually do, but compare that with Montana whose population is a mere 1.062 million enjoying 94.1 million acres. That's almost 10 acres per person!
So overpopulation sells wherever there are lots of people, watching 24 hour overpopulation propaganda of course, (because CNN.)
But let's go global shall we? And why not? This is a global catastrophe we are told we should be concerned about and us Americans are entitled to the entire Earth anyways so what the hell, let's do an empire expansion analysis.
2019 total population of the Planet 7,700,000,000
Total acres of land 37,000,000,000
Acres per person 4.8
Square feet in an acre 43,560
Square feet per person 209,314.28
The Earth is 123 billion acres in size, of which 37 billion acres are land. This means that there will be about 4 acres available for every man, woman and child in the predicted 2050 world population of nine billion, which would be an increase of two billion over the present population.
DO YOU own 4 acres?
Will you own 4 acres by 2050?
If not you better get crackin' cause times running out!
